About Me

I graduated from Lebanon
Valley College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and a concentration
in Cello Performance. I currently am a member of Pennsylvania Music
Teachers Association, Music Teachers National Association, and American
String Teachers Association. I am also a member of the Central Pennsylvania
Symphony's cello section, and I perform at weddings and venues throughout
the Harrisburg area.

Mission Statement

Music has always been
a large part of my life, and I believe that it is one of the best
ways to communicate thoughts and feelings to others. My mission
is to share my love of music with my students and to help them learn
and appreciate all types of music in a fun and creative environment.
They will not just learn how to play the notes they see on the page.
Rather, they will learn about the history of the piece and of its
composer. Understanding the life and culture of a composer is essential
in conveying the emotions of a certain piece.

Lessons

I teach cello, violin, and piano lessons in the Harrisburg area.
Lessons are normally a half hour in length, although I can accommodate
a student who wishes to take longer lessons. They are given once
a week out of my home, and tuition is paid in full at the beginning
